GovSense named as top 100 government-focused company for fourth consecutive year
ALPHARETTA, Ga. – GovSense, a leading cloud-based software solution provider for state and local government based in Alpharetta, Georgia, was named a 2019 GovTech 100 company for the fourth consecutive year by Government Technology magazine. The GovTech 100 is an annual list compiled and published by Government Technology that recognizes 100 companies focused on making a difference in state and local government agencies across the United States.
“Four years in, the GovTech 100 continues to provide a glimpse at the most innovative companies partnering with government to solve mission-critical problems,” said e.Republic Chief Innovation Officer Dustin Haisler, who was heavily involved in the list’s creation.
GovSense’s true-cloud solution creates seamless interdepartmental collaboration, fosters constant communication and gives users a 360-degree view of their community, which in turn, enables smarter communities and happier citizens.
“Collectively, we are extremely honored to be one of the few companies on the GovTech 100 lists four times in a row,” said Gary McTall, co-founder of GovSense. “It is truly amazing that we’ve established and received recognition for our product and solution in less than five years, when some companies have been at this for 20 years or more. Ultimately, communities are discovering the value of a true unified solution, and we couldn’t be happier.”
GovSense continues to experience rapid growth as it provides land, license, accounting and financial cloud-based solutions for local government. McTall describes the software simply as ‘one login, one database and no limits.’ Jurisdictions across the U.S. have entrusted GovSense’s unified and flexible software to solve their community’s challenges.
“We are thrilled with our client additions in 2018 across the United States and the inquires we are receiving on a global scale,” said Paul Cammisa, co-founder of GovSense. “Jurisdictions have now started to embrace our technology and our approach to that technology – our time-to-value is realized in weeks to months opposed to months to years.”
GovSense’s unique implementation sets them apart from the rest. Rather than a traditional ‘waterfall approach’, GovSense embraces an ‘agility methodology’, featuring a dedicated team, expert advisement and a framework of phases, tasks and milestone dates based on best practices. GovSense believes in empowering jurisdictions and helping them solve their specific business problems. They focus on providing an excellent customer experience.
“The fact that we were chosen four years in a row proves we’re on the right track,” said Cammisa. “All we see is progression and up-ward mobility for us. This is an exciting time for GovSense and we look forward to 2019.”
