Who You Are:

 You are an Associate Consultant. This role will be responsible for implementing and supporting GovSense, a local government software solution.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Management, Computer Science or other related disciplines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle a variety of different projects simultaneously and capable of managing multiple deadlines
  • Ability to take direction and work independently
  • Customer service skills, team-oriented and fast learner

Highly Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with software implementation (Cloud Software including: NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.)

What Your Day Will Include:

  • Assist and support all aspects of GovSense implementation
  • Assist with GovSense setup, configuration and customization, training, testing and overall client management
  • Help team configure and test the software solution
  • Assist technical team in reviewing and qualifying requests for enhancements
  • Provide non-technical support during the ‘go-live’ period
  • Create and update process system documentation throughout the project
  • Assist in training and ongoing support services to our clients
  • Provides project status updates to client and management
  • Perform other functions as required
  • Ability to travel as needed

Who You Are:

Our new Financial ERP Consultant. You are a smart, proven consultant with experience with public sector or non-profits who wants to make a difference by working on a unified cloud platform.

 

What Your Day Will Include:

As GovSense’s Financial ERP Consultant, you’ll have the unique opportunity to advise, implement and support customers. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Implementing and managing GovSense for our clients
  • Understand clients’ processes and configure applications based on their needs
  • Supporting new clients by leading clients through the implementation process, communicating with those involved in the implementation and resolving client issues
  • Training end-users
  • Gathering requirements, designing implementations, executing configurations, testing and supporting customers on a day-to-day basis
  • Leading customers through the complete implementation lifecycle
  • Performing other functions, as required.

 

What We Need From You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other related disciplines
  • Experience in public sector or non-profit accounting
  • Possess a solid understanding of best business practices in Accounting and Professional Services
  • Excellent understanding of common industry standard business practices related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing, Payroll, Expense Tracking) and Services Automation (PSA-Time and Expense Management, Resource Management, Project Billing)
  • The ability to solve technical problems and dive in to software
  • Demonstrate excellent client management skills and the ability to work with customers to execute an implementation plan
  • Familiarity and ease with computer systems and common software products like: Adaptive Insights, Intacct, Great Plains, SalesForce.com, Sage or Deltek, Informatica, PeopleSoft, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Oracle, Oracle NetSuite, Tyler Incode, Tyler Munis
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate skill level in Excel (e.g. V-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Ability to handle a variety of different projects simultaneously and capable of managing multiple deadlines
  • Excellent presentation/training skills
  • Ability to take direction and work in both a collaborative and independent manner
  • Customer service skills, team-oriented and fast-learner
  • Available to travel at least 30 to 40% of the time
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Our new Sales Executive. You are a smart, driven sales person with preferred experience in software sales who is eager to dive in and hit the ground running.

 

What Your Day Will Include:

As GovSense’s Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Meeting or exceeding a sales quota for selling GovSense
  • Developing industry knowledge as it pertains to GovSense and our target audiences
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects
  • Manage lengthy and complex sales cycles from lead generation to contract signing
  • Travel to local and national conferences and trade shows or demos
  • Help with the RFP response process
  • Perform other duties as needed

 

What We Need From You:

  • Past or present work experience with Local Government is REQUIRED
  • Be able to navigate through the local government procurement process
  • Previous sales experience in the software industry and/or ERP software sales is a plus

  • Must be a self-starter
