Role Overview:
As a Financial ERP Consultant, you’ll design, configure, and deploy NetSuite ERP solutions for local government clients, working remotely or from Alpharetta, GA.
Responsibilities:
As GovSense’s Financial ERP Consultant, you’ll have the unique opportunity to advise, implement and support customers. You’ll be responsible for:
- Implementing and managing GovSense for our clients
- Understand clients’ processes and configure applications based on their needs
- Supporting new clients by leading clients through the implementation process, communicating with those involved in the implementation and resolving client issues
- Gathering requirements, designing implementations, executing configurations, testing and supporting customers on a day-to-day basis
- Leading customers through the complete implementation lifecycle
- Training end-users
- Performing other functions, as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of NetSuite implementation experience; proficiency in Financial Management modules.
- Familiarity with NetSuite configurations, SuiteScript/SuiteFlow; certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant) preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite Usage Billing (SuiteBilling, subscription models) or nonprofit/public sector accounting a plus.
- Knowledge of accounting (AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets) and PSA (time/expense, project billing).
- Familiarity with ERP/CRMs (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, SAP, Tyler Munis).
- Strong client management, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables), multitasking, and 30% travel.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and collaborative skills.

GovSense is transforming how local governments operate by delivering modern, intuitive, cloud-based ERP solutions tailored for public sector needs. We’re growing fast and looking for a motivated, high-energy Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our mission-driven sales team.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify, research and qualify new business opportunities in the local government space
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, and social platforms to engage prospects and schedule discovery meetings
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing to build targeted campaigns and optimize lead generation strategies
- Manage and track leads through our CRM with consistent follow-up and data integrity
- Stay informed about GovSense products, industry trends, and competitor offerings
- Contribute to a fast-moving sales team focused on hitting individual and team pipeline goals
What We’re Looking For:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales development or business development role, ideally in B2B or SaaS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote environment
- Curiosity, drive, and a passion for learning and growth
- Strong organizational skills and comfort with CRM tools (e.g., NetSuite, HubSpot, or similar)

Who You Are:
Our new Sales Executive. You are a smart, driven sales person with preferred experience in software sales who is eager to dive in and hit the ground running.
What Your Day Will Include:
As GovSense’s Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Meeting or exceeding a sales quota for selling GovSense
- Developing industry knowledge as it pertains to GovSense and our target audiences
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects
- Manage lengthy and complex sales cycles from lead generation to contract signing
- Travel to local and national conferences and trade shows or demos
- Help with the RFP response process
- Perform other duties as needed
What We Need From You:

- Past or present work experience with Local Government is REQUIRED
- Be able to navigate through the local government procurement process
- Previous sales experience in the software industry and/or ERP software sales is a plus
- Must be competitive and results-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great presentation skills
- Must be a self-starter
- Team-player
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and employees required
- Bachelor’s degree
