City of Holly Springs Adopts GovSense Software, Kicks off Project G.R.O.W.
For Immediate Release
City of Holly Springs, Georgia, selects GovSense GRP (Government Resource Planning) software solution to manage constituent services.
ATLANTA – August 17, 2018 – GovSense, a leading cloud-based software solution provider for state and local government, announced that the City of Holly Springs, Georgia has chosen the company’s unified software solution for land management, encouraging collaboration across planning, permitting, inspections, licensing, code enforcement, GIS and economic development departments.
The strategic goal set by the City of Holly Springs is to ensure “Growth that provides Resources to assist in future Opportunities, accompanied by the Willingness to excel;” thus, the acronym G.R.O.W. to define the City’s comprehensive initiative. A cornerstone of Project G.R.O.W. was their need for a modern, all-in-one technology solution that did not involve disparate databases and multiple implementation teams. GovSense was the only true-cloud GRP (Government Resource Planning) solution that offered the full software functionality and implementation services they required, all from the same company and expert team. As a result, GovSense enables the City of Holly Springs to gain a 360-degree view of their entire jurisdiction and promotes interdepartmental communication.
Gary McTall, GovSense co-founder, explained why GovSense and Holly Springs are a great fit. “The city wanted to stay in constant communication with the citizens they serve, and GovSense was able to provide this service thanks to our easy-to-use workflow engine that automatically sends emails and texts,” he said. “They needed a system to help them grow and strengthen relationships with constituents while keeping costs down, and GovSense was the perfect fit for their unique challenges. We are extremely excited to be working with Holly Springs and to keep providing an exceptional customer experience.”
Employees at the City of Holly Springs will now have the ability to access the GovSense system anywhere, from any device, any time, as well as having the flexibility to tailor the solution to meet the needs of all departments while supporting the growing community. The solution will also allow staff members to easily update documentation, such as standard application forms, they were unable to change for years due to previous software restrictions.
“Holly Springs is excited to utilize the services of GovSense. Having to coordinate the multiple functions of the City in a variety of software programs and formats has resulted in redundancy and inefficiency,” said Nancy Moon, Community Development Director for the City of Holly Springs. “Through the use of GovSense, the department processes and provision of citizen services throughout the City will improve greatly.”
The City of Holly Springs, ranked as one of the safest cities in Georgia in 2018, recently started the GovSense software implementation process for project G.R.O.W., for which they will receive ongoing support and training from GovSense experts.
