City of Ocala, Florida, selects GovSense software solution to manage paperless initiative within Growth Management Department.

ATLANTA – July 19, 2018 – GovSense, a leading cloud-based software solution provider for state and local government, announced that the City of Ocala, Florida’s Growth Management Department has chosen the GovSense unified software solution to replace its current system.

The City of Ocala implemented a paperless ordinance that requires all constituents to submit plans and requests of all types electronically, including commercial and residential versions, and for the comprehensive start-to-finish process to be 100% digital. This mandate necessitated the city’s need for an easy-to-use technology solution to digitally manage the entire submission, review, exception, approval and payment workflow, while also providing a user-friendly interface for constituents.
